Police seek info on Subway robbers
Three men wearing bandanas over their faces entered the business around 8:15 p.m., jumped over the counter, pointed a gun at an employee and demanded money. The suspects punched and kicked the employee and then tried unsuccessfully to open the cash register.
The suspects ran out of the business without taking anything and fled in a dark blue or black newer model Honda.
The suspects were described as black, in their teens or early 20s wearing dark jackets with hoods, ball caps, gloves and bandanas.

Kirkwood Drive theft nets $20K
DURHAM -- More than $20,000 worth of property was stolen from a home on Kirkwood Drive during a recent burglary, according to police reports.
The theft occurred Oct. 22 in the 1400 block. Items stolen include a camera, two DVD players, two diamond rings, a wedding band, two computers and a watch. Total value of the items was $20,730.
In other crime:
- Nearly $10,000 of property was taken from a home in the 400 block of Edward Street Oct. 19. They include tools, two televisions, a computer and modem, DVDs, a Sony PlayStation 2 and Sony PlayStation 3, video games and an iPod. Total value of the property was $9,440.
- Two rifles worth $300 were taken from a home in the 1400 block of Maplewood Drive Oct. 21. n Burglars hit a home in the 1700 block of Avondale Drive Oct. 18 and took two 42-inch televisions, a laptop computer and car stereo, with a total value of $4,500.
