Sheriff's Office seeks 2 in break-ins

DURHAM -- Sheriff's investigators said Wednesday they have identified suspects in two recent burglaries in the northern Durham County community of Bahama.
Detectives are working on leads in the Oct. 20 break-ins to homes on South Lowell Road and Vista Del Rio Drive off South Lowell Road.
Maj. Paul Martin of the Durham County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday that investigators have identified suspects in both burglaries, but no arrests had been made.
In the South Lowell Road break-in, someone kicked in a back door at a home in the 10000 block and took a refrigerator, reciprocating saw, door locks and wood and metal blades with a total value of about $968.
At the home in the 100 block of Vista Del Rio, someone opened the front door and took the following:
- A jewelry box with necklaces, rings and earrings worth $5,000.
- Two DVR boxes worth $100.
- A five-disc stereo/CD player worth $400.
- A Samsung flat screen, 37-inch television valued at $1,100.
- A Swiss army briefcase valued at $50.
- A Panasonic camera worth $360.
